As part of a project that brought Niels to Lindisfarne, this mini activation handed over the gallery space for an onsite painting, print release, and book signing.
Weíre incredibly excited to welcome Niels Shoe Meulman to Unit44. On the back of an incredible project with the Lindisfarne Gospels in Durham. Painting several location across the region we welcome him to end his visit here in the North East. On display we will be showcasing a huge canvas work by the artist accompanied by an incredibly limited print.
Unlike our normal openings we have opted for this coming Saturday afternoon in favour of a few easy beers in the sun (hopefully) and some great new work to feat your eyes upon. Niels will be signing books and talking to those in attendance.
